The Pillar Pulse: A PICTURES WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS

A picture’s worth a thousand words… but I thought I’d add a few of my own. Hope you love it.

🏛️PHYSICAL

Your body is in a constant state of renewal.  It performs millions of functions every minute - intelligently and meticulously – requiring only some basics from you to do so.

But we’ve veered so much from the basics and live with unnatural light, processed foods, pharmaceuticals, stress, too much sitting, chasing dreams through work we don’t love, and being pounded with EMF waves.

What if rather than looking for all the “likes” on our phone, we took satisfaction in completing a meaningful task or trying something new?  And what if we sought sunshine – sans screen, glasses or hats – renewed our connection through meditation or simply quiet time in nature, allowed ourselves to be silly and laugh lots, and reach out and touch someone (or a puppy, a kitty or a baby) more often?  And what if rather than grabbing a fast bite, we cooked and ate together in celebration of wholesome cuisine and fellowship?

Too pie in the sky for city life?  It’s all about priorities.

Speaking of light, add “patching” to your routine to reflect your body’s own light to rejuvenate stem cells and activate healing naturally through the body’s own flow of energy.  Learn here then let’s get you started!

🏛️FINANCIAL

The east – China, Russia, India – has been stockpiling gold; in fact, it’s not uncommon for eastern countries to give gold coins or jewellery as gifts on special occasions.  Over time, individuals accumulate real assets versus “stuff”.

In the west, we haven’t quite caught on yet that currency is not money and many still put money in the bank as they were conditioned to. The problem?  Well, in 1913 the paper dollar and a silver dollar were equal in value. At the time of writing, the U.S. dollar is worth $ .07 and a silver dollar $33.61. It’s not that the silver dollar has gone up in value, it’s that the currency has devalued and lost 99.3% of its purchasing power.  The value of currency – paper money/money in the bank – is going backwards.

With gold at an all-time high of over $3100/ounce (again, only meaning that the value of currency is tanking), the idea of buying a full ounce of gold is a stretch for some so they buy grams of gold – smaller denominations.  The problem with that?  The mark up on smaller chunks of gold is so high that when you finally own an ounce of gold, you’ve paid far too much for it.

The solution?  Buy fractionally through your own Sound Money Wallet and store it in a highly secure and safe vault.  You can also liquidate and share metals the same way – in an instant – at 3:00 a.m. if you choose.

Could there possibly be an easier way to safeguard your hard-earned money?  (I don’t think so either).  Hop on here, scroll down to grasp the basics, then click “grab a membership”. You’re $150 away from freedom.

🏛️INTELLECTUAL

Mirroring the Aha! Moment Monday this week, let’s highlight the hidden backlash of ghosting.

Remembering the days when people went to an office to work and had a phone without call display. It was easier to get through to someone because if they were in the office, they answered their phone. The biggest gatekeeper was the secretary and there were ways around her to get to your decision-maker. Thanks to call display, voicemail, email, texts, messenger, chats and technology in general, we can answer who we want, when we want, how we want, at what time we want or even IF we want.

With all these conveniences, we’re taking beautiful control of our communication … or are we?

One of my trainers in the early years – Peter Thomson aka ‘The UK’s most prolific business development author”- always said, “Speed stuns”. When you respond quickly, you show interest, character, and energetically make the person on the receiving end feel like they’re the most important person in the world at that moment.

When people experience that you routinely and regularly respond quickly – even if you don’t have the answer they’re looking for but simply acknowledge receipt of the communication – you are lightyears ahead of most and establish trust and loyalty in all your relationships.

🏛️SPIRITUAL

We love to be appreciated and celebrated, don’t we?

Being pack animals, we naturally look for ways in which to live meaningfully amongst our fellow man, to collaborate and to receive.  Being isolated has, “…profound psychological, physical, and neurological effects on those who experience it, often lasting well beyond one's time in solitary” as described in this outline of solitary confinement.  We need to be social and feel a sense of belonging.  We are meant to feed off one another’s energy.

The award that sits on my desk is the Humanitarian Award given to me by the PPPC. It is one of my favourites because it represents countless opportunities of engagement over decades in the industry.  The membership and I had different views on the award, though. They thought they gave it to me but in reality, they gave it for me.  You see, I love to learn and can’t help but share – as I do here in The Pillar Pulse – so while the membership appreciated my service, it was I who thanked them.  I would not have had those opportunities to grow myself, with and through others, and advance our industry and its members, had they not allowed me the space, tools and blessings to do so.

Whether it’s a cup, bowl, plaque, frame or statue, remember to recognize your members who contribute to your success.  “People work for money but go the extra mile for praise, recognition, and rewards.” ― Dale Carnegie
